Job summary

Quell is seeking an Assembly Technician to support the assembly of precision mechanical, optical and electronic assemblies. The successful candidate will assemble components according to engineering drawings and documented workflows, while also demonstrating intuition when prototyping without guides.

The role requires hands-on experience with soldering, wiring, cable harnessing, and mechanical integration, using hand and power tools, and precision instruments.

Qualifications

• Experience in electronics, mechanical engineering, manufacturing, or a related technical field.
• Experience in mechanical assembly and/or optical/electronic assembly in a manufacturing or workshop environment.
• Experience with soldering electronic components, cable harnessing, and wiring assemblies.
• Experience following quality assurance processes and reporting non-conformances.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with iterative improvements.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical, optical and electronic assemblies according to established documentation and workflows.
• Perform soldering, wiring, cable harness assembly, and mechanical integration tasks.
• Use hand/power tools and precision instruments to assemble components accurately.
• Ensure work is performed with great attention to detail and cleanliness.
