Job summary

Hughes Safety Showers - a Justrite Company in Stockport is seeking a production worker to assemble components to exact specifications and ensure output quality. The role involves testing, problem resolution with the line manager, and maintaining a clean, ready workspace for the next day’s production.

Training will be provided as needed. Candidates should be prepared to undergo training, with electrical or mechanical qualifications considered an advantage.

Qualifications

• Prepared to undergo training as necessary.
• Electrical or mechanical qualification is an advantage.
• Understanding of WOP (training will be available).

Responsibilities

• Assemble components and products to detailed specifications.
• Constantly monitor output to ensure that it is of the standard required, rejecting any that does not meet the standard.
• Test components and products to ensure that they meet all requirements, working with the line manager to resolve issues.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and organised workspace and ensure a ready area for production the following day.
• Follow the Works Order Process for the manufacture of goods.
