Job summary

Randstad CPE is seeking a 360 Excavator Operator for a National Grid infrastructure project in the UK. The role covers on-site operation, strict adherence to RAMS, and collaboration with groundworkers and engineers.

Candidates must hold CPCS/NPORS with CSCS, National Grid qualification, and EUSR Water/Hygiene. Ongoing work, typical 9-hour days, with a pay rate of £24.00 per hour (CIS). On-site rights to work in the UK are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold CPCS or NPORS (with CSCS) for 360 Excavator above/below 10 tonnes.
• Must hold National Grid Person (National Grid Electricity Contractors Scheme).
• Must hold EUSR SHEA Water certification.
• Must hold EUSR National Water Hygiene (Blue Card).
• Must hold Utility Excavations qualification/endorsement.
• Must have valid CSCS and right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Operate tracked/wheeled 360 excavators safely and efficiently per site constraints.
• Carry out precise excavations near underground utilities (electricity, water, gas).
• Follow site RAMS, permits to work, and risk assessments.
• Conduct daily plant inspections and report any defects.
• Work closely with groundworkers, banksmen, and site engineers.
