Job description

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Preceptorship Psychologist to join our integrated mental health team across HMP Fosse Way and HMP Five Wells, both category C prisons supporting males aged 21+. Within this role you will work with a broad range of complex presentations. The position would suit a Psychologist familiar with adult mental health presentations, neurodiversity and complex trauma. You must be familiar with trauma‑informed approaches and will contribute to and support the clinical leadership team in the development of the psychological therapies service. The role includes supervising Assistant Psychologists, and if required supervision training can be supported as part of your preceptorship.

Hours: Monday to Friday 9am‑5pm, 2.5 days on each site (HMP Fosse Way and HMP Five Wells). We are able to offer this as a rolling rota: 3 days on one site, 2 on another, biweekly.

This position is full time; you'll receive a salary of up to £58,016 per annum, depending on experience.
