Job summary

Trent Precast Concrete Ltd, based in Nottingham, is seeking an Estimator / Surveyor with 3–5 years of precast estimating experience. You will read drawings, perform precast take-offs, and produce quotations for tenders from BOQs and drawings.

You will report to the General Manager, liaise on programmes, and generate monthly commercial reports while keeping costing up to date. Nottingham location with pension and on-site gym facilities.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years precast/architectural concrete estimating experience essential.
• Ability to read manufacture drawings and GA’s; perform precast take offs from client drawings.
• Experience producing contract reports and tracking job costing against quotations.
• Focused, deadline‑driven individual able to work on own initiative.
• Good communicator, liaising with senior management on programmes and casting schedules.

Responsibilities

• Reporting to General Manager.
• Producing quotations for new tenders and projects from BOQ’s and client drawings.
• Liaising with Senior Management on programmes and casting schedules.
• Producing commercial reports for Senior Management on a monthly basis.
• Keeping all costing and job surveying up to date.
• Tendering for work with new and existing clients.
• Building relationships with clients to secure repeat business.
