Job summary

Twizzle Tops Ipswich is seeking a Pre-School Leader to head a warm, child-centered Early Years setting. You will lead a dedicated team, ensuring high standards of care and development in line with EYFS and Ofsted guidance.

The role requires 2+ years in Early Years, with proven ability to mentor staff, drive improvement, and uphold safety, inclusivity, and regulatory compliance across the nursery.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in an Early Years setting.
• Experience working in a Pre-School room.
• Excellent working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and current Ofsted statutory guidance.
• Knowledge of child protection, health and safety, equal opportunities and SEN/Inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire the nursery team to deliver high-quality care and education.
• Drive continuous improvement and ensure Ofsted readiness and compliance.
• Collaborate with the Leadership team to set nursery goals and monitor progress against targets.
• Support staff professional development and delivery of learning opportunities.
