A leading charity organization in Newcastle upon Tyne seeks a dedicated individual to join their Pre-school Team on a fixed-term basis. You will provide high-quality experiences for young children while collaborating with local partners to ensure every child gets the best start in life. Ideal candidates will be motivated, enthusiastic, and committed to improving health and wellbeing in the community. Training and development opportunities are offered.
Fixed term for 9-12 months to cover a period of maternity leave
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a self-motivated, proactive, and efficient individual to join Healthworks to work as part of the Pre-school Team.
About Us
Healthworks is a national award-winning charity working with disadvantaged local communities to tackle health inequalities and improve their health and wellbeing through social prescribing. Based in Newcastle, but working across the region for 30 years, our patron is Professor Michael Marmot. Our work has been recognised by a King’s Fund/GSK award for our work improving the physical and mental health of people across the North East of England.
We work in partnership with NHS and Local Authority colleagues and communities in many sectors to devise cost effective solutions that secure sustainable health impacts for many conditions that inhibit quality of life.
