We’re looking for a dynamic and motivated Business Development Manager to join our forward-thinking team, contributing to the transition to a greener future while accelerating your career in the renewable energy sector.

As a Business Development Manager, you’ll take ownership of driving new commercial sales of our renewable products across the UK. Working from company-provided leads, you’ll qualify opportunities, engage with key stakeholders, and build a strong, active sales pipeline. You’ll collaborate closely with our Business Development Directors, ensuring they receive well-prepared opportunities that can be converted into successful deals and happy clients.

You’ll be central to our growth, driving revenue, building strong sales pipelines, making standout first impressions, and using your energy and passion to inspire potential clients as we work toward a more sustainable future.

Responsibilities
  • Pipeline management: Build and manage a strong pipeline of opportunities, providing regular updates and forecasts to management.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Business Development Directors to qualify strong, ready-to-progress leads, ensuring they have everything they need to confidently and successfully close sales.
  • Potential sales: Qualify opportunities early by gathering in-depth information and data from clients and conducting thorough analysis.
  • Market insight: Share market insights and customer feedback with the team to help enhance our product offerings.
  • Upselling: Maintain existing client relationships while identifying and converting new accounts.

You’ll excel at identifying proceedable leads, researching potential customers, leveraging referrals, and building strong, trusted relationships. Hybrid working explained: When and where you’ll be in the office

Our head office is in Chippenham, Wiltshire, with additional offices and warehouses in Lincoln, Ringwood (Hampshire), and Kent. For this role, we’re looking for candidates to be based in our Ringwood office. For this role you're required to work from our office (4 days week), with flexibility to work from home the rest of the time. We offer both formal and informal flexible working options. Full‑time hours are 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday.
