ELFT is delighted to announce an exciting opportunity for a self‑motivated Apprentice to join our Pharmacy team for the Feb 2026 intake. This 24‑month multi‑sector programme gives you the skills and knowledge to gain a Pharmacy Technician Level 3 and launch your career in Pharmacy. The programme will combine studying and demonstrating competence while gaining experience within different rotations.
As a PTPT apprentice you will benefit from a wide range of multi‑sector rotations designed to give you the knowledge, skills, and confidence to succeed as a Pharmacy Technician. You will participate in theoretical and practical on‑the‑job training. Core rotation will be based at Luton Mental Health Centre but also involves travel between sites including dispensary, Bedfordshire Community Health Service, Luton and Dunstable Hospital, Bedford Hospital and Halfway Community Pharmacy. You will also gain experience in community mental health transformation and medicines safety.
Throughout the 24‑month programme, you will be supported by an ES and you will have access to PS at each placement, ensuring you receive tailored guidance and development. The academic element will be delivered remotely by Skills4Pharmacy. Protected study time will be included within your working week, and completion of assignments in your own time will also be required.
