A healthcare organization in England is offering an exciting opportunity for Pre-registration Trainee Pharmacy Technicians. This two-year fixed-term apprenticeship includes hands-on experience across various settings and offers the chance to register as a qualified Pharmacy Technician upon completion. Candidates must have at least 4 GCSEs at grade C/4 or above, including Mathematics and Science. The role starts in February 2026, with a working pattern of 37.5 hours per week.
An exciting opportunity is available for 2 x Pre-registration Trainee Pharmacy Technician(s) (PTPTs) to join the pharmacy team at Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust based at either Millview Hospital in Hove or the Woodlands Centre, Hastings. This two‑year fixed‑term apprenticeship post offers hands‑on experience across our mental health hospitals and also in community and/or hospital pharmacy settings, working under the supervision of experienced pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. During the programme, you will rotate between settings, gaining broad exposure to different aspects of pharmacy practice. Upon successful completion of the programme, you will be eligible to register with the General Pharmaceutical Council as a qualified Pharmacy Technician.
Candidates must have a minimum of 4 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade C/4 or above including Mathematics, English Language, ONE Science (e.g. biology, chemistry, physics) and one additional GCSE, or have a Level 2 Pharmacy Services qualification. Candidates must also be able to successfully complete a screening assessment with the education provider and meet the eligibility criteria for UK Apprenticeships. The role commences in February 2026, subject to satisfactory completion of pre‑employment checks in accordance with NHS Employment Check Standards.
