  • 2‑year fixed‑term training programme: comprehensive 2‑year training providing hands‑on experience, mentorship, and knowledge needed to excel as a pharmacy technician.
  • Supportive environment: work alongside experienced professionals passionate about teaching and helping you succeed.
  • Career advancement: upon successful completion of training, you can work as a registered pharmacy technician with room for further growth. The 2‑year fixed‑term full‑time placement will involve rotating through all specialist sections of the pharmacy department. The qualification will enable you to register with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) at the end of your placement. The trainee is supported throughout the training period and learns to complete a range of tasks within timescales to a competent standard. You will undertake an apprenticeship to obtain a Certificate of Higher Education in Pharmacy Technician Practice, working with an assessor to develop a work‑based portfolio, completing work‑based assessments, and assignments.
