Job Description

Our UK facility is the European Maintenance Centre Hub for the SHE Group, performing level 1 to level 3 maintenance and repairs on complex helicopter engine components.

Our experienced teams partner with our broad, global customer base, providing both technical expertise and broader support in both the fixed wing and rotary wing markets.

The purpose of the job is to carry out Induction Inspections on SafranHE engines and modules taking into account Quality, Cost, TAT and customer satisfaction.

• Perform the arrival inventory on the engines/modules coming in the Pre Induction Shop, analyse the engine documentation and perform a preliminary Inspection
• Identify as early as possible any discrepancy (missing LRUs, excessive erosion …) on the engine/module
• Insure all required engine information (TSO,O, power checks …) are available at the end of the pre-induction process in order to assure that the engine can follow the level process without stopping
• Explore all possibilities to repair the engine in a level 3 maintenance centre
• Update the Cockpit Work scope and write the Pre Induction Report
• Carry out secondary duties as defined by his/her manager
• Work in accordance with Company Operating Systems, policies and procedures
• Work in accordance with HSE legislation. Identify and report any HSE risks to his/her manager or HSE representative
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve processes, working practices and take responsibility for implementing
• Support and promote Company values and behaviours

Job Requirements

Previous experience:

• Engine Receipt Inspection
• Logbook/configuration evaluation

Knowledge:

• Experience on Safran Helicopter Engine families (Arriel, Arrius, Makila) inspection

Skills:

• Mechanical engineering experience post apprenticeship
• Borescopic inspection experience
• Technical report writing

Qualities:

• Maintain a high consistency of quality standard output
• Produce accurate Engine inspection reports
