Responsibilities
- Sat in the Bid & Pre-Construction Management team in the Gerrards Cross office and be an integral part of the leadership working on fast paced building tenders.
- Dotted line into the Operations Director, Estimation Director & Head of Work Winning Global.
- You will be working alongside Estimation, QHSE, Technical, Planning Controls & MEP.
- Capable of client facing and driving strategy and coordination, ensuring delivery methods, programs, sub-contractor selection, and procurement strategy are aligned from head office to the site delivery team.
- Make sure everyone is on the same page for delivery, execution, risk and collaboration.
- Work within a QUALITY over quantity approach and engage with a business that values in-house capability and a large number of repeat sub-contractors in the supply chain.
- Assess client requirements at bidding and tender stage and translate them into delivery plans; where applicable, take this skill to site for a 3–8 week period before handover to the Project Director.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Delivered projects for a reputable Tier 1/2 Buildings Main Contractor in the UK.
- Strong network across clients and sub-contractors.
- Strong technical & engineering experience, with exposure to Lump Sum.
- Clear Design & Build experience.
- Live within 45 minutes drive of HP9 postcode and happy to travel; understanding of M25 traffic.
- Hands-on IT & software proficiency, not always delegating.
- Strong communication skills & confidence.
