A leading water treatment company is seeking an experienced Pre-Commissioning / Flushing Engineer to perform chemical cleans and flushing of water systems. The role is home-based, requiring travel across the South East to various sites, including residential and industrial. Candidates should have substantial experience in the industry and a strong work ethic. A competitive salary of £28k – £45k, along with benefits, is offered.

Qualifications

  • Experience in pre-commissioning and flushing within the water treatment industry.

Responsibilities

  • Undertaking Chemical Cleans to new and existing water systems.
  • Backflushing and power flushing of systems.
  • Flushing Hot and Cold-Water systems via mains system pumps or temporary rigs.
  • Working across varied site bases, from residential to industrial.
  • Carrying out works to BSRIA BG 29 guidelines.
  • Compiling reports using handheld tablets.

Skills

Practical experience of carrying out Pre-commission cleans
Knowledge of BSRIA BG29/2021 and BG 50/2021 guidelines
Knowledge of inhibitor control levels
Computer literate – including Microsoft Word / Excel

Pre-Commissioning / Flushing Engineer (Water Treatment)
Location: London, Greater London
Salary: £28k – £45k + Benefits + Company Vehicle
We are a leading Water Treatment company recruiting an experienced Pre-commissioning / Flushing Engineer to work on established sites across the South East. The role is home based, with regular travel to site to undertake flushing and pre-commission cleans to BSRIA standards. Applications will hold a strong work history and a professional attitude, with extensive experience in the Water Treatment industry. For the right candidate, the client can offer a competitive salary, alongside training and structured development plans.

Experience
  • Practical experience of carrying out Pre-commission cleans.
  • Knowledge of BSRIA BG29/2021 and BG 50/2021 guidelines.
  • Knowledge of inhibitor control levels.
  • Computer literate – including Microsoft Word / Excel software.
  • Willingness to travel within the role.
