Job Title: Pre-Commissioning Engineer

Our client is a longstanding and leading name within the Water Treatment / Commissioning industry who are now looking to take on an experienced and hard-working Pre-Commissioning Engineer. You will be joining their established team of engineers, providing the full range of pre-commissioning duties on various construction projects for prestigious clients across the South East and London. This role would suit someone who is looking to join a continuously growing and developing company who can offer and provide continuous support for career progression and training.

Consideration will be given to candidates from: Alton, Winchester, Petersfield, Eastleigh, Fareham, Southampton, Gosport, Portsmouth, Woking, Guildford, Reigate, Crawley, Horsham, Haslemere, Uckfield, Hove, Petworth, Chichester, Bournemouth, Poole, Andover.

Experience & Qualifications

• Will have experience working hands on as a Pre-Commissioning Engineer for a reputable Water Treatment / Commissioning company.
• Will be able to demonstrate extensive knowledge of relevant BSRIA guidelines.
• Able to communicate efficiently with colleagues and clients.
• Excellent time management skills, organising workload in line with company / client needs.

The Role

• Carrying out flushing of primary / secondary systems and fan coil units.
• Pre-commissioning chemical cleans on LTHW and CHW systems.
• Checking water flow rates and velocities.
• Undertaking backflushing and power flushing of systems.
• Sampling water systems and testing water quality.
• Carrying out work in line with BSRIA guidelines.
• Ensuring work is carried out in line with site specific plans.
• Liaising with clients, providing continuous support and excellent technical advice.
• Using information from site to produce detailed reports for clients.
