Overview

A reputable Water Treatment / Commissioning Company with a mixed portfolio of loyal and long-standing domestic, commercial and health‑care clients is looking for a professional and mouldable Pre-Commissioning Engineer based in and around London. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience carrying out pre‑commissioning cleans on new and existing pipework, LTHW and CHW systems, checking flow rates and velocities and carrying out setting of TMVs and hot water returns in line with BSRIA standards. Consideration will also be given to candidates with minimal experience, looking to build on their knowledge as the client is renowned for industry training.

Experience & Qualifications

• Track record working for an established Water Treatment / Commissioning company, working in line with BSRIA standards.
• Extensive experience undertaking pre‑commissioning cleans on a range of domestic, commercial, and healthcare sites.
• Competent in working from building plans/drawings and site specific RAMS.
• Excellent communication skills.

The Role

• Carry out setting of TMVs and hot water returns.
• Carry out pre‑commissioning chemical cleans on LTHW and CHW systems in line with BSRIA standards.
• Carry out water system sampling and water quality testing.
• Check water flow and velocity rates.
• Ensure all work is being carried out in line with the on‑site plan and provided schematics.
• Ensure all work is carried out in line with BSRIA / Health and Safety Guidelines.
• Build and maintain excellent relationships with clients.
