Job Title: Pre-Commissioning Engineer
Location: Gravesend, Kent.
Salary / Benefits £27k – £45k + Training + Benefits

A successful and professional provider of Pre-Commissioning / Water Treatment services are now seeking to take on a hardworking and diligent Pre-Commissioning Engineer. You will be joining their team in the South East region, carrying out various pre-commissioning duties such as pre-commissioning chemical cleans on LTHW / CHW systems, flushing of hot and cold-water systems and pipework chlorination and tank cleans in line with relevant BSRIA guidelines. Due to the nature of the role, our client would consider candidates who do not possess a driving licence.

Candidates will have good access to London and the surrounding areas: Dartford, Gillingham, Chatham, Maidstone, Tonbridge, Epsom, Reigate, Crawley, Horsham, Haslemere, Southend-on-Sea, Brentwood, Maldon, Chelmsford, Cheshunt, Braintree, Saffron Walden, Bishop’s Stortford, St Albans, Hertford.

Experience & Qualifications

• Extensive experience working hands on as an engineer for a reputable and established Pre Commissioning / Water Treatment company.
• Well versed in BSRIA guidelines.
• Able to communicate with clients and colleagues efficiently.
• Good IT skills, able to produce detailed reports and create / work from specific site drawings.
• Able to work well as a team and independently.
• Prioritising workload in line with company and client needs.

The Role

• Carrying out flushing of hot and cold-water systems and fan coil units.
• Undertaking pre-commissioning chemical cleans on LTHW / CHW systems.
• Backflushing and power flushing of systems.
• Carrying out cleans and disinfections.
• Pipework chlorination and tank cleans.
• Carrying out work in line with site specific plans and schematic drawings.
• Liaising with clients, providing excellent technical support and advice.
• Ensuring work is carried out in line with BSRIA guidelines.
