A prominent educational institution in Wales seeks an Administrator in the Pre-award team to support the project administration and research governance. The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational skills, a minimum of 5 GCSEs, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. This full-time role offers flexibility to work remotely within the UK, with a closing date of 13-11-2025.
Applications are invited for the above full-time permanent post working in the Pre-award team in the Research, Enterprise and Development Directorate (REDD), supporting the delivery of the busy pre-award service. This will involve working closely with the Pre-award Research Development Manager and the Research Development Officer team and working directly with academics across the institution. The role holder will be responsible for the successful administration of projects which require central support. This will involve working with the Research Development Officers, academics and other key individuals across the University. The role may involve providing administrative support for operational procedures in REDD, as required. The ability to communicate in Welsh is desirable for this post. This role will be located on campus at Bangor. Through our Dynamic Working framework, there will also be the option to spend some time working remotely (although remaining in the UK) to support work life balance, which will be discussed further with candidates at interview. The Pre-award team supports bid development and submission and then works with Post award for the management of project funding once secured. This role will also provide support for research governance, ethics and integrity.
