Job summary

Pembroke Medical Group in Wood Green seeks a practice pharmacist to join its multidisciplinary team of GPs, nurses and pharmacy technicians. The core work involves structured medication reviews and support for patients with long-term conditions, plus medicines reconciliation after hospital discharge.

This patient-facing role also involves quality improvement and clinical audit work. An MPharm and independent prescriber status are required, with at least two years' post-qualification experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in audit, research and analysis of complex clinical quality data.
• In-depth therapeutic and clinical knowledge with evidence-based medicine.
• Knowledge of primary care prescribing and rational prescribing strategies.
• Knowledge of NHS policy and medicines service developments.
• Excellent interpersonal, influencing and negotiating skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including explaining complex information to patients.
• Good IT skills.
