Job summary

Elmbank Group Practice in Aberdeen invites applications for a pharmacist to join our friendly multidisciplinary team. You will deliver practice-based pharmacy activities and help develop services to improve patient care for about 12,000 patients.

The role requires the GPhC registration and a Master’s degree in Pharmacy; Independent Prescribing is desirable or training can be pursued. Vision system training provided.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Master’s degree in Pharmacy and be registered with the GPhC.
• Independent Prescribing qualification is desirable, or willingness to work towards this.
• Strong clinical knowledge and decision‑making skills.

Job description

Elmbank Group Practice has an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic Pharmacist to join our friendly and forward-thinking multidisciplinary team.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to support the delivery of high-quality patient care to our practice population of approximately 12,000 patients. As a training practice, we provide a supportive and collaborative working environment with a diverse clinical team that includes GPs, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Practice Nurses, Healthcare Assistants, Pharmacists, and an experienced administrative team.

The successful candidate will work closely with our clinical team, undertaking practice-based pharmacy activities. They will contribute to the ongoing development of pharmacy services and support quality improvement initiatives within the practice.

Applicants must hold a Master's degree in Pharmacy and be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). Independent Prescribing qualification is desirable, or a willingness to work towards this qualification.

We are looking for someone with:

Salary: £27.06 per hour Hours: Less than full-time

The practice uses the Vision clinical system; training will be provided if required.
