Job Summary
The post holder will deliver basic practice nursing services to the practice population. Working with senior nurses they will provide patient care within their role, focusing on supporting patients to be healthy, monitoring long‑term conditions, and delivering health prevention and screening. Collaboration with the general practice team ensures delivery of policy and procedures and nurse leadership as required.
Essential Qualifications
- Registered General Nurse with current NMC registration and revalidation.
 
- Evidence of continuous professional development.
 
- Ability to work without direct supervision.
 
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience in cervical cytology.
 
- Experience in childhood and travel vaccinations.
 
Experience
- At least 1 year of experience working in a general practice.
 
- Experience with treatment‑room duties and clinical governance.
 
- Knowledge of QOF and KPIs.
 
- Experience in chronic disease management.

Responsibilities

Additional Information
Applicants must have current UK professional registration. The role is a temporary fixed‑term (10 months) part‑time position with flexible working.
