A leading healthcare provider in Gloucester is seeking an experienced nurse to provide care for patients. The role involves supporting women's health needs, managing chronic conditions, and performing various medical procedures. Candidates should be RGN qualified and possess effective communication skills, with experience in a healthcare setting. This is a part-time, permanent position with support for professional development.
We are a proactive surgery and support patients to adopt health promotion strategies that encourage patients to live healthily and apply principles of self‑care. The role will incorporate assessment care for patients presenting with uncomplicated wounds. Support and manage health needs of women presenting for cervical cytology consultations. Experience in this role would be advantageous but training can be given.

The post holder will ideally be an experienced nurse with key practice nursing skills and competencies and should also have experience in managing patients with long‑term conditions. Supported by senior nurses within the practice, you will deliver care within the boundaries of your role, focusing on supporting patients to be healthy, monitoring long‑term conditions, health prevention and screening activities. Experience of working in primary care is desirable but we welcome nursing colleagues from all areas of health provision.
