Job summary

Aneurin Bevan University Health Board is seeking a Registered Practice Nurse for Bryntirion Surgery to deliver high quality nursing care in primary and community settings.

The role involves mentoring colleagues, collaborating with the nursing team and wider multidisciplinary groups, and promoting evidence-based practices. Welsh language skills are desirable, with Welsh and/or English speakers welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• The post holder will be responsible for the assessment, development, implementation and evaluation of patient needs.
• Provide specialist advice and clinical services to patients.
• Support Senior Nurses ensuring delivery of healthcare services in primary and community care.
• Work with the Nursing Team and wider multidisciplinary teams to deliver evidence-based care.
• Provide clinical mentorship to other registered nurses and Health Care Support Workers.
