Job description

The Eden Surgery is looking for an experienced prescribing practice nurse to join our friendly village GP practices in Hatfield Heath and Hatfield Broad Oak. This position is a part‑time maternity cover for 2 days per week. The post will commence in January/February for 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Implementing, and participating in, vaccination and immunisation programmes for both adults and children, including patients travelling abroad.
• Managing asthma and COPD patients and their reviews.
• Dressings.
• Cervical sample taker.
• Diabetic experience would be an advantage.

Qualifications and Experience

• A relevant nursing degree.
• Current NMC registration with an active PIN.
• Evidence of clinical skills and experience in treatment room consultation.
• Compassionate manner with an empathetic approach and demonstrable kindness in all aspects of your work.
