Job summary

Coalbrook Surgery in Llanelli is seeking an experienced Practice Nurse to join our friendly primary care team. You will work closely with GPs and colleagues to deliver patient-centred nursing care, support long-term condition management and promote health and wellbeing in our community.

The role involves clinical assessments, wound care, venepuncture, ECGs and health promotion, with opportunities for professional development and involvement in practice governance.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
• Experience working in primary care or a similar clinical environment.
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Commitment to providing safe, compassionate and effective patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment, screening, treatment and health education services to patients.
• Deliver nursing care independently and with GPs and the multidisciplinary team.
• Undertake health assessments and refer appropriately.
• Promote health and wellbeing and support long-term condition management.
• Maintain accurate patient records and participate in governance processes.
