Job summary

Threeways Surgery is seeking an experienced practice nurse to join our clinical team on a part-time basis (10–15 hours per week) in a purpose-built, modern surgery environment. The role focuses on immunisations, women’s health including cervical screening, and management of long-term conditions such as asthma, diabetes and COPD, within a supportive multi-disciplinary team.

Qualifications

• RGN status with a minimum of 2 years qualified.

Responsibilities

• Administers adult and child immunisations and vaccinations in accordance with national and local programmes.
• Is competent in anaphylaxis and resuscitation techniques.
• Ensures safe storage, rotation and disposal of vaccines and drugs and adequate stock levels are maintained.
• Offers comprehensive travel health advice for patients prior to travel.
• Womens Health & Cervical Screening - offer advice and reassurance to patients and encourage uptake.
