Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking Locum Practice Nurses in Camborne to provide flexible sessional work across community health settings and GP surgeries. This role offers a balanced mix of treatment room duties, clinical reviews and preventative health activity.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse (NMC) with primary care or community experience.
• Immunisation and cytology experience advantageous.
• Confident in routine treatment room work.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new clinical environments.
• Strong communication and patient interaction skills.
• Enhanced DBS clearance.

Responsibilities

• Running treatment room clinics including wound care and general nursing procedures.
• Supporting chronic disease and long-term condition reviews.
• Administering adult and childhood immunisations (if trained).
• Performing smear tests where qualified.
• Conducting NHS Health Checks and lifestyle assessments.
• Maintaining accurate documentation across clinical systems.
• Providing general clinical support to GPs and Nurses.
