A leading medical practice in Walthamstow is looking for a Practice Nurse to join their team, working on a full or part-time basis. Responsibilities include delivering healthcare, managing chronic conditions, and providing immunisation services. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of nursing and general practice experience, with strong skills in teamwork and resilience. The role emphasizes supporting patient care and active participation in innovative approaches to healthcare delivery.

As a Practice Nurse you will be supported by the partners, Senior Management Team and a dedicated team. You will work collaboratively with the wider team and organisation to meet the needs of patients and provide leadership and direction for the nursing team. Our ideal candidate will have drive, dedication, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude. They will have the ability to work well with all teams across all our sites and be open to innovative ways of working, including working collaboratively with our 20 + nursing colleagues working across our sites.
The key focuses of the role will be supporting the wider practice team in delivering care to our residents. This includes monitoring and assisting in long-term conditions management and proactively supporting health promotion and screening activities.
Skills in immunisation, and cervical smear provision are essential requirements.

Addison Road Medical Practice (ARMP) is a large teaching practice based in a purpose-built building in Walthamstow, North East London (NEL). The practice serves 18 000 patients and is part of a wider group of 5 GP Practices spread across NEL serving 50 000 residents. The practice employs 1 full time lead nurse, 2 part time nurses and 1 HCA as well as a host of other Allied Health Professionals as part of a diverse multidisciplinary workforce skills mix.
