Job description

We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Practice Nurse to join our supportive and well-established nursing team for 27 hours a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday). You will be joining a team proud of its strong systems, friendly culture, and shared purpose in providing exceptional care to our patients.

Main Duties of the Job - Key Responsibilities
  • Chronic disease management (Asthma, COPD, Diabetes, CHD etc.)
  • Wound care and management
  • Cervical screening
  • Child and adult immunisations
  • Blood pressure monitoring and health checks
  • Requesting and interpreting pathology tests
  • Spirometry and peak flow readings
  • Supporting the wider clinical team and contributing to service development
