Groves Health is seeking a motivated Practice Nurse to join our team and provide high-quality care to patients at our New Malden Surgery.
We are ideally looking for a qualified General Practice Nurse, though we welcome applications from nurses with relevant experience who are keen to develop their skills in primary care.
This is a full-time role (37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 1.0 FTE), but we are open to discussing flexible arrangements to suit the right candidate.
While your main base will be in New Malden Surgery, occasional work at our other sites in Richmond, Wimbledon, and Hinchley Wood may be required.
As a Practice Nurse, you will:
Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients health needs.
Develop, implement, and review individualised care plans.
Provide appropriate treatments and interventions as required.
Undertake treatment room responsibilities and deliver Chronic Disease Management clinics.
Carry out specific clinical tasks, including but not limited to :
Travel health consultations and vaccinations
Cervical screening tests
Childhood immunisations
Blood pressure monitoring and ECGs
Venepuncture and health checks
Work collaboratively with GPs, other nurses, and the wider healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care.
Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential patient records in line with NHS standards.
Deliver health education, advice, and counselling to patients and their families.
Keep up to date with current clinical guidelines, medical advancements, and best practice in primary care.

The role involves a wide range of clinical responsibilities, including patient assessments, care planning, treatment room duties, and the delivery of Chronic Disease Management (CDM) clinics. You will also undertake specific tasks such as travel health consultations, cervical smear tests, childhood immunisations, wound care, venepuncture, and routine health checks.
You will be supported day to day by a Lead Nurse on site, and work within a wider nursing team overseen by our Group Nurse Manager, ensuring strong clinical leadership and opportunities for professional development.
Working closely with GPs, fellow nurses, and the wider healthcare team, you will play a key role in ensuring patients receive safe, effective, and compassionate care. You will maintain accurate patient records, provide health education and counselling, and keep up to date with current clinical guidelines and best practice.
