The Courtyard Surgery is seeking a Practice Nurse to lead a team of four and deliver comprehensive nursing services in a rural Wiltshire setting. The role offers flexible hours (20–28 per week) with no weekend or Bank Holiday work.

You will lead clinics, vaccinations, cervical cytology and LTC reviews, and have the opportunity to prescribe within your scope while contributing to quality improvement and governance.;

• You will be an NMC registered nurse with current registration.
• Experience in managing long term conditions within primary care.
• Competence in cervical cytology and immunisation, including baby immunisation and travel vaccinations.
• Strong leadership and organisational skills (desirable).
• Understanding of achieving good QOF outcomes (desirable).
• SystmOne knowledge desirable but not essential (desirable).

Job summary

Courtyard surgery is looking for our new Practice Nurse to lead a team of 4 to deliver nursing services. We are a small practice and the workload is manageable, with no weekend or Bank Holiday working.

Your role will be to lead the team, the provision of smears, vaccinations and immunisations and manage LTC's working closely with other members of our team. We are very flexible about the days and hours you may wish to work, and are looking for between 20-26 hours a week but open to conversation.

Courtyard Surgery is a highly regarded rural family practice serving approximately 3,300 patients in the beautiful Wiltshire countryside. We are a teaching practice and veteran friendly. We are located in a purpose built building with free car parking on site. We have a GP Partner, Salaried GPs, nursing team and extended care team.
