We’re seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Practice Nurse / Registered General Nurse to join our friendly, patient-focused GP surgery team. You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality, evidence-based care through chronic disease management, health screening, vaccinations, wound care, and health promotion.
Working collaboratively with GPs, healthcare assistants, and other clinicians, you’ll help patients achieve better health outcomes and lead healthier lives.

Chronic Disease Management: Monitor, review, and support patients with conditions such as diabetes, asthma, COPD, and cardiovascular disease.
Health Screening & Preventive Care: Conduct NHS health checks, cervical cytology, blood pressure monitoring, and other screening programmes.
Immunisations & Vaccinations: Administer adult and child vaccines, including seasonal flu, travel, and routine immunisations.
Wound Care & Minor Procedures: Provide wound assessment, dressing changes, suture removal, and assist with minor clinical procedures.
Patient Education & Lifestyle Advice: Deliver guidance on nutrition, smoking cessation, sexual health, and general wellbeing.
Clinical Administration & Record Keeping: Maintain accurate, timely documentation in line with practice and NMC standards; manage recalls and ensure compliance with policies.
Collaboration: Work closely with GPs, practice staff, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver seamless, patient-centred care.

Essential
Registered General Nurse (RGN) with current NMC registration.
Sound clinical knowledge and experience in primary care or community settings.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and documentation skills.
Commitment to continuous learning and maintaining up-to-date clinical practice.
Desirable
Previous GP practice experience.
Experience in chronic disease management and immunisation programmes.
Evidence of continued professional development.
