We are looking for a Practice Nurse, who is confident in managing these conditions and is keen to develop their knowledge and skills within primary care.
The right candidate will provide a broad range of nursing services, including long-term condition reviews, health promotion and preventative care. Clinical duties will include observations and investigations, wound care, vaccinations and immunisations, cervical screening, travel health and other procedures appropriate to their training and competence.
The Practice Nurse will work closely with GPs and the wider multidisciplinary team, while also managing their own workload and working independently within their scope of practice.

We value teamwork, professional development and continuous learning, and are looking for an enthusiastic and professional Practice Nurse who is committed to delivering high quality patient care.
The appointed Practice Nurse will maintain accurate clinical records, follow safeguarding, infection prevention and control procedures, and comply with Practice policies and relevant guidance. The role will also involve supporting colleagues and students, contributing to clinical quality standards, maintaining NMC registration and undertaking continuing professional development.

This will include reviewing blood pressure, weight, BMI and other relevant clinical measurements, as well as providing advice on diet, exercise and self-management.
