We are looking for a practice nurse to work on a full or part time basis in our busy, friendly two site practice. The hours are negotiable but applicants must be flexible and able to cover holidays/sickness.

Responsibilities

• All aspects of practice nursing including:

Qualifications

• A relevant nursing degree.
• Current NMC registration with an active PIN.
• Ideally completion of the CNO002 Discovering a Nursing Career in General Practice module or the Fundamentals of Practice Nursing course (General Practice Nurse Foundation Programme); equivalent experience or qualifications will be considered.

Experience

• Evidence of clinical skills and experience in the above duties.
• Compassionate manner with an empathetic approach and demonstrable kindness in all aspects of your work. The successful candidate will value the dignity of patients, relatives and carers, as well as colleagues at the practice.
• Knowledge and experience of supporting long-term conditions.
• Insight and understanding of current issues in nursing and the wider NHS.
