A growing healthcare practice in Leeds is seeking a Practice Manager to oversee non-clinical operations, manage finance, and improve practice performance. Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years in senior management, proven people management skills, and experience in health service settings. A competitive salary of £35,000 to £50,000 is offered based on experience.

A position has become free, due to our Practice Manager relocating, for the right candidate who can demonstrate well developed managerial skills. These will include a history of good working relations with previous team members and evidence of past improvements the candidate has led.
With the help of the partners, clinical team and Patient Services Manager to develop a 6,100 patient practice so it becomes a catalyst for positive change in the community. This demands not only outstanding people management skills but strategic thinking to take advantage of opportunities arising in a rapidly changing environment. To help develop the resilience to withstand and bounce back better from shocks to the system. To do this by working collaboratively with local partners in primary and social care and also in the voluntary sector.
The Chapeltown Family Surgery is a long established practice working for the communities of Chapeltown and Harehills. Its strength lies in its size with a small closely knit clinical team who have been working together for many years. Decisions are made democratically with everyone's contributions invited and good ideas valued. The aim is to make all the team know there is a space for them to be listened to and involved in decision making. Then with a happy engaged practice team patient care will continuously improve.
Chapeltown Records dating back to 1715 describe Chapeltown as being well situated in pure air upon a pleasant ascent. We are still well situated near to the city centre but also the parks in Roundhay and the artisan shops of Chapel Allerton. We boast the UK’s oldest carnival second only to Notting Hill in size. Nearby there are restaurants from everywhere from Korea to Ethiopia to Jamaica. Its greatest asset however are its people. The following are the core responsibilities of the Practice Manager. There may be on occasion, a requirement to carry out other tasks; this will be dependent upon factors such as workload and staffing levels.
