Bond Williams is recruiting an Accountant for a well established accounting firm in Ferndown. The role is office-based and supports contractors, freelancers and SMEs, offering an opportunity to work with a diverse client base and develop skills in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has 1-2 years of accounting experience, a practice background, and prides themselves on accuracy and proactive client service.

Qualifications

• At least 1-2 year’s accounting experience.
• Practice background preferred.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Accurate, detail-focused and proactive.
• A team player who enjoys learning and developing.
• Comfortable working in a busy and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Preparing VAT returns, statutory accounts and corporation tax returns.
• Reviewing financial records for accuracy and compliance.
• Managing client queries and building strong relationships.
• Working with accounting software and Microsoft Office.
• Supporting clients and colleagues with clear, professional communication.
• Helping drive excellent service and achieve team goals.
