Job summary

Harvey John is recruiting an experienced Practice Accountant for a long-established independent accountancy firm in Horsham, West Sussex. The role covers year end accounts, corporate tax and management accounts for a diverse client base, with potential to build your own portfolio.

On-site parking and a supportive team structure are provided. The ideal candidate will be ACA/ACCA qualified, with extensive UK practice experience, strong client communication skills, and an organised, detail-minded

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for year end accounts and corporate tax returns for a range of clients.
• Prepare management accounts and personal tax.
• Over time take responsibility for your own client portfolio and progression opportunities.

We are hiring for an experienced and qualified Practice Accountant to join a long established independent accountancy firm in Horsham, West Sussex.

This is a fantastic opportunity if you already have solid experience in a UK practice environment, and are now looking for a long term practice accountant opportunity in a well run and highly regarded firm.

This will be a busy and varied role: you will take responsibility for year end accounts and corporate tax returns for a range of clients along with preparation of management accounts and personal tax. Over time you will take responsibility for your own client portfolio and there is definite scope for career progression in the longer term. You will be joining a well established and friendly team, offering plenty of support so you can develop your skills and progress your career. The firm are based in a central and easily accessible location in the Horsham area with on site parking.
