Areas of work include Public Relations, Corporate Events, Employee Communications, and Buzz Marketing. The team includes professionals with backgrounds in public relations, journalism, social media, writing and buzz marketing. We’re looking for trailblazing, collaborative professionals from a variety of creative fields.

Description

We are looking for a PR Manager to join our European Services PR team. The role is responsible for planning and implementing Apple’s PR initiatives for its Services across Europe — including App Store, Apple Pay, Apple Arcade, Apple Podcasts, and more. You'll partner with the editorial, creative and business teams across all services, to develop positioning, messaging and coverage generating initiatives. This role will help devise and implement communications initiatives that resonate with a European audience.

Responsibilities
  • The planning and execution of PR activities to drive understanding and increase visibility of Apple’s Services, as well as articulating the value proposition of these services.
  • The successful candidate will help manage media activities in this region, collaborate with the wider PR team to craft integrated product and services storytelling, and leverage our services to improve local relevance and connection with local culture.
  • The role requires a deep understanding and the ability to dive deep into our markets to identify new and creative ways to reach influencing voices and share the Apple story to improve coverage of Apple Services.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 5+ years experience in public relations, journalism, PR agency or corporate settings.
  • An expert in Marketing Communications and be an action oriented, resourceful and great collaborator
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills and detailed project management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • A passion for consumer technology, entertainment, culture, and enjoy building relationship networks with a variety of people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Have extensive experience in working with content creators and media and a deep understanding of how people consume news and create opinions across social and traditional media.
  • Be results driven and have a strong eye for detail.
  • Be flexible and able to work with ambiguity and on complex topics, skilled in multi-tasking, delivering under tight timelines, adapting quickly to change.
  • Have a strong team mindset and influencing skills.
  • Ability to balance stakeholders and communicate with a variety of teams.
  • You are a self-starter who is dedicated and demonstrates creative and critical thinking abilities.
