A public sector organization in the UK is seeking a PR Manager to lead its press office and enhance its media relations. The successful candidate will be responsible for crisis communication planning, organizing speaking opportunities, and building relationships with industry journalists. This role offers a salary range of £50,000 to £55,000 plus benefits, and requires strong skills in press office management and media engagement.
As the PR Manager, you will lead the PPF’s press office and oversee our pension media relations, including proactive outreach, crisis communication planning, and the management of external PR partners. Beyond media, you will champion our presence at industry events—securing speaking opportunities, supporting executives, and building strong relationships with trade journalists and event organisers. Your work will amplify the PPF’s influence and credibility across the sector, ensuring we remain at the forefront of industry conversations.
Our Croydon office is just across the road from East Croydon station, which is about 15 minutes from Victoria or London Bridge, 10 minutes from Clapham Junction or half an hour from St Pancras.
