We are seeking a Travel & Tourism PR Account Director to join our London team. As a PR Account Director, you will work with clients in the Middle East and the Caribbean. You will direct the team across clients, ensuring the successful implementation of PR plans and strategy.

Some of your key duties:
  • Oversee the team’s workload and progress, ensuring high-quality delivery and clear communication with senior management.
  • Develop and execute annual PR strategies for clients, bringing bold, creative ideas to the table.
  • Lead proactive media outreach and story pitching, securing standout coverage across national, glossy, and digital outlets.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key media, representing MMGY Global as an industry ambassador.
  • Organise and lead group press trips and client FAMs, ensuring fair team participation and hands‑on client engagement.
  • Provide leadership and guidance in moments of crisis—supporting clients and mentoring junior staff on best practices.
  • Contribute to new business development through proposal writing and pitch presentations.
About you:
  • 5+ years’ experience in PR, ideally with at least 2 years in a senior or managerial role
  • Experience in working with tourism clients in Saudi Arabia / the Middle East and/or in the Cruise sector is a bonus
  • Deep understanding of the travel and lifestyle media landscape
  • Strong network of media contacts across national and consumer titles
  • Proven experience managing teams, campaigns, and budgets
  • Exceptional writing, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Solid understanding of social media and how it integrates with PR strategies
