Job summary

Travail Employment Group currently has a temporary PPT Operator role in the UK. You will operate a Ride-On PPT, load/unload pallets, move stock to correct locations, and ensure paperwork aligns with pallets.

The role involves general warehouse housekeeping and supporting colleagues to meet deadlines. You will join a UK head office of a global company, with a 15+ year track record, and you will work under the Warehouse Manager in a varied daily environment.

Qualifications

• Valid external licence and good knowledge of Ride-On PPT operation.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse and following processes.
• Strong communication and ability to follow company procedures.

PPT Operator

• Safely and confidently operating a Ride-On PPT, loading and unloading vehicles with pallets


• Moving stock to the correct warehouse location


• Ensuring all paperwork is present with correct pallets


• General housekeeping of the warehouse area


• Working to schedule and ensuring planned time deadlines are met


• Assisting other warehouse team members when needed

We would expect the successful Counterbalance Truck Driver to be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of driving a Ride-On PPT and warehousing practices, have a valid external licence. Be an excellent communicator and enjoy an versatile job role. You will be supported 1 to 1 to become familiar with the company processes and procedures. This would be an ideal role for you if you have worked within Pallet Pump Truck Operator, PPT Driver or a Ride-One PPT Operator position.

You will be joining the UK Head Office of a global company that has been established for over 15 years with an enviable reputation in their field of manufacturing. Working directly with the Warehouse Manager, this role offers variety on a daily basis.
