Job summary

The Best Connection Tamworth are recruiting for an experienced PPT Operative to join our client's National Distribution Centre in Dordon, Tamworth. The role offers Monday–Friday work from 08:00 to 16:30 with a pay rate of £13.00 per hour and the potential for a permanent position after a successful trial period.

Ideal candidates will have PPT experience and prior warehouse work, with a focus on accuracy, reliability and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. Immediate starts are available.

The Best Connection Tamworth are currently recruiting for experienced PPT Operatives to join our client's new National Distribution Centre based in Dordon, Tamworth.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced warehouse operative looking for stable Monday to Friday work, with the possibility of a permanent position following a successful trial period.

The Role

As a PPT Operative, your duties will include:

• Operating a Powered Pallet Truck (PPT) safely and efficiently


• Using a scanner gun to accurately pick online customer orders


• Picking and preparing orders for dispatch


• Quality checking picked goods


• Packing orders ready for dispatch


• Ensuring warehouse procedures and health and safety standards are followed


• Supporting general warehouse duties as required

Working Hours & Pay

• Monday to Friday


• 08:00 - 16:30


• £13.00 per hour


• Immediate starts available


• Potential permanent position following a successful trial period
