Job summary
Job Advert in Bedford is seeking an experienced PPT Driver to support warehouse operations with pallet running. You will operate a Powered Pallet Truck to move pallets between production, storage and dispatch areas on a Monday-to-Friday schedule from 08:00 to 17:00, with weekly pay.
The role requires a valid PPT licence, prior warehouse experience in a fast-paced environment, and a strong emphasis on health and safety.
Qualifications
- Valid PPT licence/certification with proven experience operating PPT equipment.
- Previous warehouse experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience moving pallets safely around the warehouse.
- Strong health & safety and manual handling awareness.
- Reliable, hardworking and able to work as part of a busy warehouse team.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Powered Pallet Truck (PPT) to move pallets around the warehouse.
- Run pallets between production, storage and dispatch areas efficiently.
- Load, unload and position pallets safely and accurately.
- Support the wider warehouse team with general duties when required.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment, following all health & safety procedures.
