This role is based in Farnborough Hampshire with 2 days per week in the office. Our office is within walking distance of the train station and has free parking. This is a full-time position however work life balance is important to us and so we are open to discussion on flexible working patterns (minimum 4 days per week).

Salary: 27000 - 30000 bonus

This is a maternity cover fixed term contract for 10 months.

About the role

As a Paid Media Executive no two days will be the same. Your mornings might start with a quick check‑in on overnight performance identifying trends and making optimisation tweaks to ensure spend is working hard. You’ll spend time building or refining campaigns refreshing ad copy and keyword strategies and sharing insight‑led reports that help shape our wider digital marketing approach. Afternoons might include collaborating with the Content CRM or Product teams to align campaigns with new launches and promotions or joining calls with our overseas colleagues to fine‑tune performance in international markets. You’ll balance analysis and creativity finding ways to make our message stand out while keeping our campaigns efficient measurable and impactful.

You’ll play a key role in inspiring travellers to choose Explore for their next adventure. You’ll be responsible for building and optimising paid media campaigns across key global markets ensuring our stories reach the right audiences at the right time. To do this you will need to :

  • Create manage and continually improve paid search and social campaigns across Google Bing Meta and other platforms.
  • Optimise daily performance to maximise ROI allocating budgets effectively across high‑performing channels.
  • Track and analyse performance data using GA4 and SuperMetrics turning insights into clear recommendations for the wider digital team.
  • Develop audience strategies based on data‑driven insights to ensure we reach the right travellers in every market.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in our international teams to share learnings and optimise spend globally.
  • Implement and maintain tracking via Google Tag Manager to measure the impact of campaigns on real‑world bookings.
  • Be an active positive member of the Explore team – bringing ideas curiosity and a love for travel to everything you do.

Am I the right person? We are looking for your application to demonstrate :

  • Enthusiastic team player with a genuine passion for digital performance marketing and of course have a love for travel.
  • Some experience of managing PPC campaigns (Google Ads and Bing) ideally with relevant certifications.
  • A solid understanding of marketing fundamentals and campaign optimisation.
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills with the ability to translate stats into action.
  • Great organisational and time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Confidence using digital marketing tools such as GA4 Supermetrics and Google Keyword Planner.
  • A customer‑first mindset ensuring every campaign helps someone find their next great adventure.

Bonus points if you have :

  • Experience with CMS or CRM systems for landing page optimisation and audience building.
  • Background in travel or tourism marketing.
  • Higher education or a marketing / paid media qualification.
