Job summary

TeacherActive is working with a welcoming mainstream Primary School in Middlesbrough to appoint a PPA Primary Teacher on a long-term basis from September. The role involves providing PPA cover across all year groups and delivering engaging lessons while teachers are out of the classroom.

You should hold QTS (ECTs welcome), have experience in a UK primary setting, and be confident teaching EYFS to KS2 with strong classroom management.

Qualifications

• QTS (ECTs are also welcome to apply).
• Experience teaching within a UK primary school.
• Confidence teaching across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
• Excellent classroom management skills.
• Flexible, positive and proactive approach.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.

Responsibilities

• Provide PPA cover across all year groups delivering engaging lessons.
• Maintain high standards of classroom management and continuity of learning.
• Support planning and cover gaps when class teachers are out.
