Job summary

McLaren Automotive is recruiting 3 Powertrain Buyers based in Woking or Bicester to join a fast-paced procurement team. You will lead sourcing activities, negotiate contracts and develop supplier strategies in collaboration with Engineering, Quality, Production and Legal.

The role requires a degree in Business or Engineering (MCIPS desirable) and prior automotive purchasing experience. You will build strong supplier relationships and drive cost and quality improvements within a high-performance

Qualifications

• Degree in Business or Engineering required or preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing purchasing, automotive preferred.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills required.
• Experience developing commodity strategies and cost analyses.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate and finalize supplier contracts within Powertrain commodity.
• Lead sourcing activities and develop supplier strategies with Engineering and Quality.
• Collaborate with Production and Legal teams to ensure successful delivery.
• Build strong supplier relationships and drive cost/quality improvements.
