Path Recruitment is seeking a Powered Access Engineer for roles in the Somerset/Bridgwater area. The role focuses on MEWP inspections under PUWER and LOLER, ensuring safety and compliance of cherry pickers, scissor lifts, and similar equipment.

Salary ranges from £40,000 to £55,000, with overtime, a company van and 31 days leave. Training opportunities are available and you will work locally across Bridgwater and Somerset with a growing plant fleet.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in MEWP maintenance & LOLER inspections
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification
• IPAF 3a/3b & CAP card
• Good IT & communication skills
• Clean UK driving licence

Responsibilities

• Carry out MEWP inspections under PUWER and LOLER regulations including cherry pickers and scissor lifts
• Report findings and ensure inspections do not expire
• Provide technical advice to clients and colleagues
• Support on-site safety practices and compliance
• Optional training in lifting inspection is available

Role Overview:

As a Powered Access Engineer, you'll carry out MEWP inspections under PUWER and LOLER regs including a range of powered access machinery including cherry pickers and scissor lifts, ensuring equipment is safe and compliant. You'll report findings, prevent expiry of inspections, and support clients with technical advice. Optional training in general lifting inspection is available

Requirements:

• Previous experience in MEWP maintenance & LOLER inspections of powered access machinery or similar
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification
• IPAF 3a/3b & CAP card
• Good IT & communication skills
• Clean UK driving licence
