Job description

Job Title: Powered Access Engineer
Location: Cannock, Staffordshire
Salary: circa. £45,000 (Salary is negotiable DOE), Additional On-Call Allowance, Company Bonus Scheme, 25 Days Holidays + Bank Holidays, Company Van, Company Pension, Private Healthcare, Full Product Training.

Due to growth and expansion, we are looking for a Powered Access Engineer to join an independent, rental company who specialise in supplying powered access machinery to the construction industry across the UK. You will have the opportunity to join a close‑nit team, where working together in a friendly environment is what we pride ourselves on. Full product training and ongoing support will be provided as well as the opportunity to progress as the business continues to expand.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out service, repair and maintenance on a fleet of scissor lifts, cherry pickers and powered access machinery
  • Attend onsite breakdowns
  • Diagnose and repair faults on mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems
  • Carry out pre-delivery inspections on the machinery
  • Adhere to all health, safety and legislation within the workshop & onsite
Requirements
  • Ideally hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Engineering Qualification
  • Previous experience working on Powered Access is essential
  • Ideally hold a CAP Licence & IPAF Licence
  • Hold a UK driving licence
