Position – Power Systems Studies Engineer – Leatherhead

Duration: 12 months

Contract type: Outside IR35

Location: Leatherhead (Hybrid working)

Job Overview

We are looking for a Power Systems Studies Engineer to support various onshore and offshore projects. These include local power generation, renewable power, including BESS or grid connections at voltages up to 220 kV.

Studies will include equipment sizing, load flow, short circuit, dynamic motor starting, harmonic studies, arc flash, transient stability and protection coordination.

Responsibilities

• Run power system studies and oversee third‑party vendors providing studies for projects including EMT software.
• Perform equipment sizing, load flow calculations, short‑circuit analysis, dynamic motor starting, harmonic studies, arc‑flash, transient stability and protection coordination.

• ETAP (for all power system studies)
