Job summary

Hunter Selection is seeking a Power Supply Design Engineer for a Crawley, Sussex client. Working hours are Monday to Thursday 8:00–16:45 and Friday 08:30–12:30, with a salary of £50,000–£70,000 per year.

The role involves designing projects from concept to completion, collaborating with the mechanical design team, overseeing production issues, ensuring compliance and performing product testing. Requires 6+ years in power design/electronics and security clearance eligibility.

Qualifications

• 6 years experience within power design and electronics.
• Hands on experience.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Hold security clearance, or be eligible to pass security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design projects concept to completion.
• Improve and refine ideas.
• Work cross collaboratively, such as with the mechanical design team.
• Oversee production process, managing production issues, compliance and paperwork.
• Product testing.
